A cardiothoracic surgeon with Catholic Health Initiative in Lexington, Kentucky, Jonathan Kiev, MD, excels in areas of minimally invasive surgery, robotic surgery, and thoracic oncology. In 2014, Jonathan Kiev, MD, expanded his professional activities by becoming the president of AOK Innovations, LLC. In this role, he oversees innovative design efforts for a variety of medical devices, including quick-access instruments for emergency responders and operating room physicians. He has established numerous technology patents during his time leading AOK.
A medical graduate of Tulane University, Jonathan Kiev, MD, conducted his undergraduate studies at Syracuse University.
